Hey Tim,
I’ve been working on plans for an acting podcast for a couple weeks and stumbled across yours. I’m an actor in LA as well and have really enjoyed your style and content.
I’ve been through a ton of auditions like your Charmed audition. You prepare, have your beats down and then you go in and …. it kind of all goes out the window. Of course, those are the parts you end up getting. The time you can spend auditioning for the part of a waiter with two lines is just inconceivable. Having a sense of humor is all that saves you in this biz — and it sounds like you’ve got that!
Keep up the great work!
later,
Trevor
Trevor,
Thanks man! Yeah, it’s amazing how everything can just fall apart in that casting office. A sense of humor certainly helps. I hope you keep listening! Drop me an email if you start up a podcast. I would love to listen.
Hey Tim,
Great podcast, this charmed podcast was my favorite so far. I would love to see more like it. My second favorite being the interview with Mr. Cromwell.
I am an actor in boston (which means I work for free), I plan on moving to LA in the next year or so; if I can work up the courage that is.
Keep up the good work.
With a passion for acting,
Don Foley
Don,
Hey, I’m from Boston and believe me, I’ve worked for free many times. I’m pumped to see I have someone listening back in Massachusetts. Thanks for the encouragment and thanks for listening. Sounds like I might see you out here some time soon.
Tim
