I enjoyed the latest show. Now you have me on a suspense. Keep it up.
Best fueling ending ever, Tim. You’re killing my hard-on. I thought my iTunes crashed or something. I jumped up to see what I was missing. Can’t wait to hear how Future-Hannah likes your Pilates mat.
Yeah. I was going to hook you guys up with some sort of message announcing the end of part one but that would be too “kempt”. It’s a cliff hanger!!! Thanks for listening Ling and Mike!
Tim
Oh, I’m hanging off the cliff alright. Right off the ducking edge. Can’t wait to hear p2. These unkempt episodes are way cool, Tim. Keep it up!
Hello http://www.scribblesfromla.com Tom! My favorite Tom on the planet. Yeah, this cliffhanger is a bit cruel but I thought I would give it a shot. Thanks for checking in.
Tim
Tim! Just tell me she still likes you and found the apartment charming. She did, right? I mean, she sounds so cool! Jeepers! I hate fueling cliffhangers! ; ) I’m really liking these unkempt podcasts. The casual tone suits you really well.
– Chris
Hah! I love it! Part 2 is coming . . . soon. Now you know how I felt. Will she like it or run screaming? Those for checking in Chris.
Tim
Yeah! Cliffhanger at it’s best! Can’t wait until next episode.
I have to say this is THE best episode so far. Man I LOVE those “unkempt” episodes, especially cliffhangers! Awesome! Keep it up man!
I enjoy the podcast for the stories, not your opinion of the President. Please stick to the stories and interviews.
awesome. just awesome.
so great!
I love the concept that your big dreams in life should be signifigant at any age. Not just when you’re a kid.
I can’t wait to hear if you got the girl or at least a towel.
more of everything please.
Gail
p.s. you look sexy in glasses! that is hard to pull off!
Tim,
I look forward to more shows, you really do do a good job. Try not to get too political, and I’ll try to look past it when you do.
All right, we’ll see how it goes.
Thanks for the reply,
Jeremy
Jeremy,
Agreed! Hey, I listened to your latest podcast. Your dedication and commitment to triathlons is impressive. You and I aren’t that different.
Good to hear from you.
Tim
Gail,
Ahhhhh. A girl AND a towel. Life doesn’t get any better. I hope to have part two up by the weekend.
Thanks for the compliment re: the glasses! Coincidentally, that was the first night that “she” saw me in my glasses.
Tim
Tim,
She’s smokin’…….nice catch! Looking at her I can already sum up Part II, but I’m sure it’s going to be a good story. Also, keep throwing in the politics, especially b/c you and I have two different view points, it’s great to hear what you have to say (and not say).
-Matt
Oh my god Tim, you had me cracking up. Hannah, the cemetary, the braces, the hair, it is all coming back to me now…Love it!
You suck. YOU SUCK! Leavin’ me there, like that.
You know I’ll be back though. Damn you.
By the way, who the heck took the picture?? The bartender?
Beth,
I was wondering when someone would ask that. Nope. I took this pic and every one on my flickr page. Pure narcissism . . . LA style. I just held my arm away from us with my little digital camera and fired away. At least I didn’t bring a photographer with me on the date.
Great to hear from you!
Tim
Hi Tim, great show!
I’m a listener via Matt @ Digital Detroit Radio. I love your show – great insights and very entertaining. Oh yeah, and this Unkempt fuelling rocks!
That’s fueling great. Now there is another kick arse LA based storyteller I have to compete with…. Ducking bastard.
Yo Lance! Thanks for checking in buddy.
I figured I might as well start talking about my life in a more personal way. Ideas . . . stories . . . experiences . . . that’s all we got. LA is not a boring place, that’s for sure.
Keep up the great work over at the “Fringe”. I’ve been a listener from the beginning.
Tim
This whole series it really fantastic. I was literally laughing outloud while listening on my hike. The whole bit about the towel was killing me…. So, because of the game, I guess I won’t see you tonight at the LA Pod meeting…. I wish I could stay home and watch it too…. Go Dallas! (I don’t want Shaq to win!)
Thanks buddy! You’ve done the same to me over the past year many times. I’m rooting for Dallas as well and yup, I’m a no-go for tonight – mostly because of the scooter situation. Ugh!!
Tim
How dare you talk about your life and your opinions on this podcast. Who do you think you are? The payer of the Libsyn fee and hosting fees? The persons who puts the time and effort into the creation of the podcast?
Tut tut…
Seriously fantastic stuff.
Mark!
Brotha! I worship thee. Thanks so much for checking in. Yeah, how dare me bring some personal stuff into this mess I call a podcast.
Keep the great music coming. You are an inspiration!
Tim
Dude…
You are going way way over board with the pausing in your breathing…
You are probably right but these shows are called “unkempt” because they aren’t edited or scripted. Most people would take the time to edit out gaps, mistakes, stutters, pauses, etc. but I wanted to free myself from that process. Editing takes a lot of time and energy. These shows are one continuous take (except for this one because the ending changed). This show is two takes, unedited. So, you’re probably right but that’s just the way it goes . . . for now.
Thanks for the feedback though. I do appreciate it.
Tim
