It’s 46 days. I’m surprised more people don’t see it that way. That’s the first time you two planned to get together so that’s a date so that’s the start of the relationship. I knew my wife for four years before we started dating but I don’t include those first four years when someone asks me how long we’ve been together. Know what I mean?

That said, you should stop counting days. Great shows!

If she believes in you like we do, then she’s all right in our book! I def. think 46 days, or from the day you made the arrangements to meet at the bar, should be day one. My longest relationship before Tricia was only like six months or so (Nantucket was a beauty though, wasn’t she?), so hey, you never know.

Also, with the kids, if they try something new, like peanut butter, and they break out in a rash, I certainly make them try it a second time before I would declare an allergy, so keep that in mind with your potential ‘allergy’ problem.

Looks like the vote is 52. I also represent the Canadian vote being on the Best coast, Vancouver, BC (AKA Hollywood North). Can’t wait to hear more from your podcast, so far unkempt #4 pt 1 and 2 was my exposure to yours. I’ve been listening to Matt on DDR (and don’t forget the “Duece”) for the past year; his show rocks too. I thought the whole Jeremy Roenick thing was hillarous.

Just curious, are there any previous episodes I should go back and download?

Regarding keeping the excitement…I’ve been married 22 years. I expect it to go another 22. The excitement of new love does end, but it’s replaced by a comfortable, belonging feeling. Like that favorite concert T-shirt, it was great to get because the concert was cool, hip and happening, and you felt special because you were THERE at that concert of the moment. And then, after 10 years, it’s still your favorite shirt, but now it’s because the shirt’s soft and faded and just about the most comfortable shirt you can imagine.

I say you’re really on day 52. You’ve been “with her” for that long, no question. Who cares about Option Boy? Something hot was happening and you two were on the “road” to your four months (and beyond). This is no time to be conservative about numbers — wheels are in motion.

It’s 33 days, but in dog (bitch) years that’s 7 months.

So that’s more than four months bitch!

I was eating my dinner at Barbara’s while listening to Un4. Maybe not the best idea on my part, but I was told a great story, so it was worth it…. You were able to capture the feelings I was trying to go for in my “Craigslist Chronicles” only you were able hit the target.

Dude, you really blew me away. We’ll talk more when I see you, but you really put it out there. A comedy and a tragedy in the same breath. I feel lucky to have seen the seeds of this at the studio during the Art Walk…. I told you, you’d find someone!

But I do have two friendly pieces of advice: First stop counting days. Be in the moment…. Second, listen to Cush’s “How to Deal with Hot Chicks.” NOW!!!
