FINALLY!!! I am going to listen in a few, but wanted to write and say thanks for the update. I really hope it all turns out good for you…I will find out soon I guess. All the best.

Your comment about it not being right for a person to be needy when she’s asked for space provoked this reaction in me: you can if you’re a woman. Fuck feminism; women can be demanding and unresonable, but they should be loved by their men despite it. Why? Because you love us.
I wouldn’t dare to give anyone relationship advice (I am 33 and have pretty much always been single, maybe because I am the kind of woman who believes the above), but I just thought maybe telling you my reaction to your concern about the waiter’s feelings might give you some insight into the way a woman (especially a “hot” one) feels.

I’m happy to hear that you’re still together. Your podcasts have me hooked with their honesty and unpredictable twists and turns.

    Tamee,

Yeah baby!!!! No beach brawl is going to stop me. Bring it!!!!

    Yo Jessica!

I like your bold stance. I actually find your statement to be quite feminist\’ish.

\”Yeah I\’m demanding but love me anyway. I fuelling deserve it!!!\”

    I like it!

    Rav,

    Hope you enjoy it buddy!

I just had to write after that last episode. I love your show. The honesty that you share is beyond the call of duty. I’m no therapist so take whatever you want from what I say. The problem with your dad wasn’t that he gave up his dream. People have to give up their dreams all the time. The runner who loses a leg to cancer is never going to be in the olympics. The problem with you dad was that he never picked up a new dream. He may have spent all years blaming your mom and you kids for not reaching his dreams. Just because you want a woman and love in your life doesn’t mean that you are giving up your dreams. And even if it does, it doesn’t mean that your new dreams can’t be better than the old ones. That’s enough Dr. Phil for one day. Good luck Tim. I’m pulling for you.

I think we forget our parents are human and make mistakes…… some bigger than others, granted.

Anyway, great show Tim. Loved the bit about the three girls in the coffee shop, classic! Thanks for keeping us up to date.

    Daniel,
Thanks buddy! Hope classes are going well.

    Drew,
This one sentence really helped me.

\”The problem with your dad was that he never picked up a new dream.\”

I think that\’s really what has been so difficult - how he responded to what has happened in his life.

    Thanks Drew!

    Gail,

You would be \”very unsafe\” in that neighborhood. Hah! Great to hear from you.

AWESOME!!! I was hoping it would end well. You really have something special here (in a podcast and a relationship). Keep up the good work and look forward to the next installment.

Dude . . . you got my response already . . thank you so much for your honesty. The hot chick is even hotter in person and I hope all the best for the two of you. Even through the ups and downs, it is definetly worth it. I like the newly updated graphics and website design! Keep things coming, things can only go up from here!

I’ll look out for your boys at the Expo. I still can’t believe we haven’t met in person.

Dude… let me just say that that was quite possibly the best 43 minutes of radio I\’ve ever heard (forgive me if I say \”radio\” as I\’m new to this whole podcast craze). Not only did I shit myself with laughter, but I was at times touched and even a bit disturbed. I put it right up there with some of Bogosians better pieces! Truly, my friend, you need to make sure this doesn\’t go unnoticed. There are people with their own television talk shows that do not possess half of the courage, candor, wit and charisma that you have. And if I see Adam Corolla\’s face plastered on one more billboard or bus ad, I\’m going to tear out my fucking eyeballs and chew on them.

    ALL HAIL TIM COYNE!

  20. 20 thehollywoodpodcast Sep 25th, 2006 at 6:21 pm

At this point, I am fully accepting and embracing all compliments.

Thanks so much Jeff! Your words mean a lot to me.

    Tim
