Tim, that was awesome, I watched the video! Thank GOD for the show, you really needed some help my friend. Carolyn
Tim!
That was really cool. It’s great to see a good change. Hope you’re going to get that poster back soon!
Daniel
Coyner,
Great episode! I’m glad I got to see the show. Any updates on meeting with the people that Greg put you in contact with?
Tim,
Great place…your room in LA was much better than that. Thank goodness for Wendy.
Tim, I had to download this from your website. It just wasn’t downloading via iTunes. You may want to look into that.
Thanks for finally posting the show. What did you do with all the books? Chuck ‘em? Hide them under the bed? Put them in a box in the basement? Sell them on eBay?
Will you give us a behind the scenes tour of the show?
B.
Hello everybody!
Carolyn – I hear you. I bet you thought I was exaggerating about the pilates mat situation. Nope. Ugh!!
Daniel – Yeah. I have an update on the poster. Hopefully I can tell you all about is soon. Time, my friend. Never enough time.
Matt – Thanks for checking in again. I actually met with some peeps yesterday. I’m hoping to tell you about it soon’ish.
Michele – Whenever I see the Michele with on “L” I know it’s you. Listen up everybody!!!! I am the first guy that this “Michele with one L” had sex with. When was that? 17 years ago? When exactly am I going to get over you, by the way? 17 years ago!!!!!!! Holy shit!!
Anyway, how are the husband and three kids?
Beth – Yeah, my Itunes had the same problem. I don’t know what the heck is going on. Ahhh! Where the hell did all that crap go? Well, the books are now in the “living room” and my roommate just talked to me last night about cleaning all of that crap up. I definitely want to do a “behind the scenes” but they made me sign this insane confidentiality agreement. I’m just deciding whether to ignore it or not. We’ll see. The Flickr gives a little bit of a “behind the scenes” look but you want to hear the juicy stuff. I know.
Tim
Tim, we love to hear your saga, it keeps us on the edge of our seats…it’s real life and truly riveting to listen to, thanks for putting it out and being so candid. That said, as much as I’d love to hear the behind the scenes stuff, I beg you (okay, I’m not really begging) not to break the rules of the confidentiality agreement. It’s not worth it considering what you’ve gotten out of being on the show.
Of course that’s just my opinion, but I think as much as everyone wants the lowdown we also want the best for you and would hate to see a lawsuit or something bad like that go down. I mean, I know it’s LA and lawsuits aren’t too common in the city (uh….) but you never know…
I have to agree with Ross. Best to hold up you side of the bargain. However, you can always ask permission. When you go to get your poster back, ask about it. If he says no, then ask Greg if he’d let you interview him. Hey, it never hurts to ask.
Yeah. I think you’re both right. Maybe at some point Greg will sit down with me for an interview. We’ll see.
[...] Fellow Acton-Boxboro alumnus and rekindled friend Tim Coyne got himself on TV recently, which landed him a bed for the first time in something like 7 years, and a new lease on his relationship (which, if I’m counting right, is veering close into Hannah Swift territory). Fueling awesome. (Listen to the “unkempt” episodes for an explanation.) [...]
Tim,
Wow! I just watched the video:
3 things,
Wendy is fine! (You knew that already!)
You handled the show like a pro!
Have you gotten a new job yet? Did they really hook you up with the interviews?
The show is awesome,
NCN
Tim, that was so much fun. I hate TV shows like that, but it was such a great laugh watching you and Wendy ramp it up.
Gail and I are really pleased for you, please keep us posted on how the interviews etc go.
Tim, oh my goodness, I miss you! I haven’t listened to your show in months, and I really should, and I will. As soon as I get back this afternoon from work, I’ll listen to your episodes.
Hope you are doing well.
Hi Tim
I’ve been listening to you for almost a year, and it was so cool to see you and Wendy on video.
Wow!! You told us, she was hot. You sure weren’t lying. And he took your Duran Duran poster. Hope you get it back real soon. Good luck.
Palle
PS. You were just my podcast recomondation of the week on my own Danish podcast (Palle Bo Podcast).
Tim,
My man! I finally got to sit down and check out the show. It didn’t work very well via itunes (even after the third day when it finally did download). So I had to sit down and watch it from here. The pad looks sweet! Congrats man. Its a bummer though that they had you do most of the work yourself. But nonetheless . . . I also like knowing the phone message you left for Wendy leading up to the show. Did they ever plug your show? I know the focus wasn’t on that but it didn’t seem like they mentioned it or even mentioned what you do, which kinda seems like a bad rap.
Anywise . . . thanks for the help.
Take care,
Paul
Tim,
Mega props. Been following your awesome Unkempt series. Very funny, witty, revealing and courageous. You look to be on an amazing success arc right now. Keep the good stuff flowin! Hope you can keep the podcast up with the new job and all…
very interesting that – you should have smacked him around a little though – and the girl too for that matter – but that’s just a cranky old guy’s opinion.
NCN – As usual, there\’s no quick answer to what happened next. It was an interesting experience though. That\’s for sure!! Thanks man!
Mark and Gail – Hey guys! Thanks so much! It was fun! More details are coming if I can find some time. Time!!!!
Ling – I miss you as well. I hope all is going great. Are you in NYC?
Palle – Hey! Great to hear from you. I just tried listening to your show but I don\’t speak Danish. It seemed great though! Hah! Thanks for sticking with me. Believers are hard to come by out here in the city of dreams.
Paul – Yeah. You\’re right. That wasn\’t TV magic. I really did do the work. Actually, I\’m wearing the jeans that I wore that day right now and I\’m looking at a brown paint stain on my right leg. Or as the designer guy liked to call it, \”chocolate\”. It was fun!
Steve – Thanks man! Amazing success arc? I\’ll take it. Nothing is really happening but I do feel like something is just around the corner. I can feel something coming. I just don\’t know what it is and when it is coming. Gotta keep things moving . . . forward.
Murray – Interesting read Murray. That would mixed things up a bit. A little dope slap to Greg and smack to Wendy? I\’ll consider it next time.
Congrats on the redo of the room Tim. Although it looks so stark now! I think I need to do something like this.
What’s up with the no job thing….I thought you were paying bills by doing a little “kid running”? Greg made it sound like you were a freakin hobo on the streets without a job. What up with that? Yet, it is cool that he tried to get something “real” lined up.
FYI…no problems on the iTunes video download for me.
“please don’t step on my bed!” – best line – a coughed laughter. I also love how Greg goes to shake Dave ‘s hand for doing a great job and then realizes that he’s not going to get a handshake so he just massages his shoulder…
fucking hilarious.
I love the man-hugs.
Please tell me you are still dating her.
-Alex
Dude… I’m going to give YOU a hug next time I see you! You stepped it up, brotha… I’m proud. And you’ll keep stepping up until you’re interviewing Greg Behrendt on The Tim Coyne Show. Fuck yeah, man. That’s how it’s gotta be.
We’ll be in touch.
50 cc’s BABY! That was great Tim. Wendy and I enjoyed your appearance on the show. It was great seeing you buddy. We miss ya! Yeah we’re gonna give you a great big hug next time we see you. Got your picture frame back yet? lol We’re gonna be checking up on your website from now on. Hope to see you soon. Love ya! *muah*
