    Hi Tim,

When I listened to the first part of your podcast today, I thought “FINALLY! Someone who thought exactly the same thing I did!” I went to see “The Departed” when it first came out a couple of months ago. During the first 20 minutes of the movie, I was also quite confused between the two male characters (played by Damon and DiCaprio). To me, they just looked the same. Perhaps part of it was because it was too hard to concentrate on the story due to the annoying buzz that kept coming out of the sound system.

After those 20 minutes, I realized they were NOT going to fix the sound system and I just walked out to get a refund, thinking I’d go back some other day. And you know what, I did not use my free coupon to go back to see “The Departed”. I just went to see another movie. Based on those 20 minutes and the total confusion I was in, I just had no desire to watch the rest. So there you go. Your young friend is not the only one who was confused by those two characters. Perhaps it did get clearer later on in the movie. I guess I’ll never know!

Keep up the good work, I do listen to you regularly.

Damon and DiCaprio look nothing like each other! Damon looks a lot like Mark Whahlberg. But nothing like DiCaprio. The whole shape of their faces are different.

    Hi Tim,

Great show today. You said exactly what I’m also going through right now. I just try to remember that something great might be waiting right after that construction site, we just have to keep going, avoid the big machinery, even trust the guy with the sign thats telling us to move it fast with a worried look. It’s tough somedays for me but I try.
    Thanks for another inspirational podcast!

I am so intrigued to find out what happens next with you, Tim. And I love what your girlfriend said about believing in your soul. Wow. (She’s had a few good lines in your podcasts- including when she told you that if you wanted to argue facts, you should date men.)

    Hello everybody!

Yo Bernard and Andrew! You guys crack me up. Where’s the love? You two need to focus on the love like Mau and Margaret did. Margaret and Mau are talking about “trust” and “soul” and you two are discussing who looks like who.

On the other hand, I’m the one who started yelling at a 16 year old over this topic.

    Hmmmm.

Tim! I’m all focussed on the love, no worries on that score - I’ve got my own ‘hot chick’ here in the UK.

But different people will get different things out of your podcasts, that’s a great thing about them. There’s the ‘plans’ issues and the ‘trust’ issues… and then there’s an insane story about a kid not understanding ‘The Departed’.

Hey, I finally got round to completing the survey! Gave you top marks for pretty much everything. One question was whether I’d trust your advice on furniture… I have to say you got an 8 rather than 10 for that one!

Hey again, why can’t I download part 2 of ‘Discovered’ about Alejandro Hernandez? The page opens but there’s no download option.

    Yo Andrew!

Good to hear brotha! Don’t mess it up. I’ve got to make it out there to the UK, maybe join you for a beer. Thanks for listening! Stick with me. It’s going to be a fun journey. I’m all in baby!

“TRUST THE GUY WITH THE SIGN”, I like that.
I can really find myself in a lot of what you’re saying. Sometimes
    it’s almost like hearing myself.
When it comes to people believing in you - it’s the same thing in my
town and the environment here. If you have a dream (etc), here in my
town, they laugh and they have no belief in you. So I guess I also should
try to trust the guy with the sign, cause often times there’s nobody
else to trust. It’s sad, but true.

    And one more thing..
“Are you looking for a memory?”

    Good to hear from you.
    Daniel

The signs are all around you my friend…pointing you in the right direction…you only need
be aware of them…accept them….trust them! ….and if something does’nt work out the way you planned…thats because a better opportunity is waiting. Thanks once again for a great podcast…and sharing you personal life with the world….thanks for teaching and inspiring.
