The moment you mentioned that you were cast in the movie I immediately paused the show and checked the cast list for the movie on IMDB and there you were! I shook my left fist in front of me and bit my lower lip as I thought to myself “Fuck yeah, Tim Coyne! Fuck Yeah!!” Then I went back to listening. Needless to say the moment in the movie theater, the moment of truth, was bittersweet in that true “world of Tim Coyne” fashion.

Everytime I listen to one of these I feel like I learn something about myself.

Amazing stuff as always.

Once again, I find such beauty in an mp3. Isn’t that crazy? That so much feeling and emotion and passion can be boiled down to 1′s and 0′s? I think I’ll download a bunch of these for my 18 hour (and back) trip to the Philippines next month.

You’re on the IMDB page for the movie, Tim, so according to rabble like me in the boonies of Torontoland, you’re in that fucking movie, man! Perhaps I’ll microboycott it and I’ll never know any different.

I can tell you with all certainty that this is your year.
Next year will be your year, too. Just like last year was, and the 35 years before that.

(and if that’s more discouraging than inspiring, then take a breather and turn the fuck around!)

Hang in there Tim, There always seem to be something that keep us from getting to the party or big break.I hope the disappointments or set backs don’t throw you off your game or lower your moral, but see them as learning experiences. The bigger the set back or disappointment the more knowledge there is to gain. Great podcast.

I’ve always said that THP is required listening for anyone headed to Hollywood to ‘make it big.’ No one tells a story about ‘the biz’ like you do T.C.. I understand why this was an Unkempt label show, but it might as well have been a regular version. SO awesome. You had me laughing so hard while out on the run. A brilliant piece!

But really, it’s your words, words like this that will take you exactly where you want and need to go…because it’s what people respond to, it’s a tender and honest piece of who you are, and I feel, if anything, -that- should be something worth a ton.

I admit, there was a little weeping fought off by my eyes at the end, but I loved them for it, for their reaction to you and your story. That’s the magic, the THING.

I wish you many things, but I hope for that one thing you wish for yourself the most.

Happy Belated Birthday, Tim.

Hollywood makes you feel like the gasping fish. Flopping around on a wet dock hoping to fall back in the water.

Not everyone falls back in, but we all continue to struggle in the hope that we will.

I left L.A., the pain inside me got to be too much. I think back to the what if’s. What if I had stayed? What if I never took that job out of state that changed my life forever?

If you still feel it in you, you know what I’m talking about, “it”. Then keep on plugging. Don’t give in.

I love my life now, but sometimes there’s a certain feeling in the air, a certain sunnyness to the day and I’m transported back. I’m on the set and living my dream all in the fleeting moment of a blink.

Someone once told me the following quote, “the worst day on the set, is better than the best day in the real word”. It’s so completely true. I know I was a set junkie. And I miss my fix. badly.
