Meet the Artists: Chico Colvard
Oprah Winfrey Network buys its first documentary, ‘Family Affair’

Great work Tim! Child abuse is such a traumatic event. I’m curious to see how the film looks visually. To have a story documented in this way is unique. I feel that this film can be therapeutic for many. The truth will set you free!
I want to see this now, after listening to your podcast.
OWN (Oprah’s Network) bought the film. I hope both of you get a chance to see it in the near future.

Great great interview, compliments to both of you.
Loved what that girl said to him: “that is a movie”. Our reactions to events like this are always far from what we predict in our dream scenarios, where we somehow get even with tyrants. Our bodies have memory and mind on its own, and in such cases body reacts much quicker than our grown up mind and usually continue the relation from where it was cut off.
Loved also the part about how police reacted to situation of this “white mom”, the black sheep of the community. So much “ballless” things going on in life, so much injustice and severity to eat from fellow-creatures if one does not follow the rules of this community.
Wish much success to the movie, his author and even more piece of mind to all protagonists of the movie.
Hey 34.
Yes. I think this was my favorite interview. Really interesting guy with a shocking story to tell. Really enjoyed meeting him.
