    here’s to another chapter…

Just finished listening. Wow, so many things I want to say. I’m still processing it but I think first I’ll say…

    thank you.

This story hit me like no other Unkempt. Many parallels in my life. While listening to you tell the story I felt like you were walking a fine line between keeping it together and going to the dark side. Just my take, maybe reading too much into it but I definitely enjoyed this ride.
I will check out the audiobook, I’ve heard good things.

Thanks again Tim and congratulations on the amazing things you share.

Harrowing, moving episode, Mr. Gibbells. Tim, have you ever read the Unbearable Lightness of Being? This episode reminded me of it with your dueling lightness and cursed heaviness. Remember, too, that sometimes “The heavier the burden, the closer our lives come to the earth, the more real and truthful they become.”
Loving your stories. Unkempt keeps me thrilled and laughing and scared. Can’t wait to see what you and Janean are cooking up.

    love from another ex-Masshole,

My goodness. I listened to this late at night and felt like I was having a heart attack myself.

Every UNKEMPT has been great but this one.. don’t even know what to say. If this were turned into a movie, it’d take Dustin Hoffman in the lead, and directed by.. I don’t know, Abel Ferrara? :)

    You continue to surprise, sir.

    Bravo, double congrats,

Tim Coyne is even better then Tim Howard!

I am happy for the conclusions you ve came to, it s what I was trying to tell you with my blueberry land provocations. I ll tell some more in the back stage.

Great show, this one is going to be send to everyone in my mail list again,

    wishing you all the best,

    sincerely, 34

    p.s.
I ve decided to keep the name, I am not changing it into 35, cause that was the number that brought me to your page at first place and this I find a precious coincidence

Janean – Gotta keep impressing you. I don’t want to work with anyone but you on the book.

Mau – Thank you so much. You’re right. This one was a tough one. I was hoping it would connect with some.

Mike – Mr. Ex-Masshole;) Haven’t read ULB but I’m intrigued. Thanks so much Mike.

Juho – Glad you’re still out there brotha. Dustin Hoffman in the lead? What about me? ;)

34 – Finally! Right? So glad you liked it and thanks for pimping it to your friends.

Heh, Tim you got me there.

Maybe having anyone else play you would be like, say, having George Hamilton play Bob Evans. Not quite the same. ;)

Brandi – My mom said the same thing. I tell you what I told her. “Don’t worry. I’m fine.” But I never turn down a hug;)

    Juho – ;)

Lance Anderson – Not many people have said that line.

JT – Thanks so much. Great to hear from you.

Firas – You too. Awesome to hear from you brotha. We’ve been in contact for quite a while now. Much has happened in that time;)

Absolutely loved this. But that’s no surprise. I always love listening to your life, your observations and experiences. I always feel better afterwards. Always.

    Coyner,

Another great episode. Real gut-wrencher. I’m glad to hear you’re working things out.

We need to form a club comprised of former paperboys/grocery store workers who have seen “Osmosis Jones” in a theater. I saw it up in Keene, NH, that summer.

Cheers Tim! It took a lot of courage to tell that story. Thanks, for inspiring me, to be a better man! Most men don’t deal with personal, or psychological, issues well,we’re to macho! I see that life,is a inside job! It begins and ends with you,and how much value, you have for yourself. I’m glad Tim, that you had the courage,to embrace personal responsibility! Like a Tattoo, this episode will stay with me forever!

I like the metaphor,of you in the car, discussing the book with Janean,as your heading toward your destination. You are headed in the right direction. You will arrive to your destination! Enjoy the ride, bro! Life is a journey!

Buffy – Mr. Gibbles appreciates hearing from you. Green? Herbal? Hmmm;)

Scott – WWTD. Love it. Thanks so much Scott. So great to have stayed connected with you.

Jay – That is so awesome – a fellow paperboy, grocery boy, and Osmosis Jones watcher. Thanks Jay.

This comment is for those who come late to the Unkempt game (like I did). This was my intro to the series and it blew my mind. If this is your first episode, do yourself a favor and go back to the beginning of Unkempt. I’m working my way through all of the episodes and can’t get enough. It’s great to hear how the story develops and grows along with the style of each show. Great work, Tim!

ps. I want one of those WWTD bracelets.
