UNKEMPT - STORIES
In May of 2006 I launched the "Unkempt" storytelling series. At the time, I was getting burnt out on all of the time and energy I was putting into my interview episodes. It was also a crazy time for me in my personal life; driving a scooter, dating a "hot chick", sleeping on a pilates mat, etc. All I wanted to do was turn on the microphone and talk about my life; no editing, no intro, no outro. Like my life at the time,it was raw, honest, and . . . unkempt. Things have changed over time of course. The stories have gotten a bit more focussed, and music plays a big role in the episodes. But hopefully the rawness and honesty remains. Enjoy!
